The Goal
Clear the field of mines by opening cells that don't contain mines
and flagging cells that do.
Work together with other players to clear the entire shared board.
Reading the Numbers
Every number tells you how many mines are hidden in the 8 cells directly surrounding it.
A 1 means exactly one of those 8 neighbours is a mine.
A 3 means three of them are.

This 1 means exactly one mine is somewhere in the 8 surrounding cells.
If you open a cell with no mines nearby, it's blank and automatically opens all its neighbours too; this can reveal large areas at once.
Multiplayer Rules
π₯
Hit a mine and you're on a 3-minute timeout. The board keeps going for everyone else.

Flags are visible to all players. Anyone can place or remove them, and each player has a flag limit.

When the board is fully cleared, a game admin will start a fresh round.

Chording
Chording lets you quickly open all remaining neighbours of a numbered cell when
you've placed the exact correct number of flags around it.
1.
Place flags on all the mines around a number until the flag count matches it. The cell glows teal when it's chord-ready.
2.
Hold left and click right (or vice versa), or use middle click on the number.
3.
All unflagged neighbours open at once β cascading if any are blank.
β οΈ
Chording is dangerous.
If any of your flags are wrong, chording will open a mine and trigger your 3-minute timeout.
Always double-check your flags before chording.
